OCI Ltd. arranges an introduction to the offshore banks and assists you in opening bank accounts and brokerage accounts for offshore companies (IBC’s), UK LLPs and UK Ltd Companies as an optional service. While filling in the online form for Company formation, you will be given the option to add the bank account opening services or brokerage account in the bank of your choice. We handle documents processing for your bank account. You do not have to personally visit the bank.

We will send you all required corporate documents for the account opening accompanied by the account application form and the detailed instructions how to fill them in. We offer our clients bank accounts for investment and commercial purposes. The banks we work with are well established financial institutions located in different jurisdictions, but they have one thing in common: very strict confidentiality policies.

Bank Account in Belize (Central America)

This offshore Belize Bank features an account denominated in all major currencies. The Belize bank offers customized and individually managed accounts. Account funds can be accessed using a cobranded (optional) MasterCard credit card, with or without the account holder name on the card. The bank offers flexible withdrawal conditions and higher interest rates on savings as well as other credit, investment and loan solutions. If the account balance is below the recommend US$1000 balance, bank charges will be applied.

The minimum opening balance for the account is US$ 1,000.

  2. Notarized photocopies of the passports of each of the signatories to the account
  3. Verification of a permanent address (such as a bank statement or a utility bill)
  4. A bank reference for all signatories, directors, shareholders and beneficial owners

Bank Account in Nevis Bank (Caribbean)

This Nevis offshore bank offers multicurrency corporate accounts for IBC, trusts and foundations. There is a mandatory activation fee of US$100 for opening the account. A PIN is issued for secure online banking. A US$ MasterCard credit card is issued for the Nevis bank account. The bank does not accept cheques as deposits for the account.

The recommended opening deposit for the account is US$ 1,000.

Required documents:

  1. Certified copy of the trust, foundation or incorporation documents
  2. Notarized photocopies of the passports of each of the signatories, shareholders, directors and beneficial owners
  3. Verification of a permanent address (such as utility bill or a bank statement)
  4. A bank reference for all signatories, shareholders, directors, officers of the entity
  5. A reference from lawyer or accountant for all signatories, shareholders, directors, officers of the entity
  6. Completed application form

The Nevis bank account will be opened within 3 days after all the required documents are received.

Bank Account in St. Lucia (Caribbean)

This is an offshore bank account for active trading companies. Open a bank account denominated in any of 15 major world currencies for your IBC or LLC in this well regulated international Caribbean bank. The St Lucia offshore bank provided 24/7 access to your account using an advanced online banking system. Visa or MasterCard credit cards are available for the account.

The minimum opening balance for the account is US$ 5,000, and it is recommended to maintain a minimum balance of US $5,000 to avoid additional monthly charges.

Required documents:

  1. Certified copy of the incorporation documents of the IBC
  2. Notarized photocopies of the passports of each of the signatories to the account
  3. Verification of a permanent address (such as utility bill)
  4. A reference letter from a referee who is either a lawyer, chartered accountant or a banker is required
  5. Filled in application form

Once a completed application is received by the bank, the account will be processed within 48 hours.

Bank Account in St. Vincent (Caribbean)

A multicurrency account can be opened for your IBC in this Caribbean offshore bank. The bank offers internet access to your account, while using coded tables and an electronic signature as a security tool to protect against unsolicited access to your funds. A Cirrus Maestro debit card is available on activation of the account.

The minimum opening balance for the account is US$ 1,000.

Bank account in Cyprus (Europe)

We represent a well established and reliable bank in Cyprus where we will be able to open a multicurrency bank account for your IBC offering the client both trade and investment banking services.

You can keep your funds in USD, Euro or GBP with very attractive interest rates. Internet banking is available. Credit and debit cards are available after the account has been opened. Opening balance is US$ 1,000.

Required documents for the offshore account opening:

  1. Verification of a permanent address (example an electricity bill or other utility bill)
  2. The bank account opening forms duly filled and signed (we provide them)
  3. Certified copies of the incorporation documents of the IBC
  4. Identification; Certified copy of the passport for all signatories to the account
  5. A bank reference (a letter confirming that you hold a personal account in any bank) for all signatories
  6. A board resolution which appoints the authorized signatories (we prepare it)

Bank Account in Latvia (Europe)

We can open a multicurrency account for your IBC in this private Latvian bank for commercial or investment purposes. The bank offers secure online access to your account, and does not require bank references. Credit cards Visa, MasterCard and American Express are available. There is no minimum initial deposit required, but a fee of US $500 is charged for account activation. No visit is necessary.

Required documents for the account opening:

  2. Signature and Seal card
  3. Notarized photocopies of the passports of each of the signatories to the account

  5. Business description

Bank account in Tanzania (East Africa)

We represent a well established and reliable bank in Tanzania, where clients can open offshore business accounts. Accounts are accessed by secure online banking facilities. The bank provides debit and credit cards for the business accounts.

The opening deposit for the Tanzania bank account is US$ 1,000.

Required documents for the offshore account opening:

  1. Verification of a permanent address (example an electricity bill or other utility bill).

Brokerage Account in Panama (Central America)

This brokerage account can be set up within 3-5 days and allows trading on all major money markets; the trading products include stocks, Forex, options on futures, futures, FX options, ETF’s and CFD’s. Trading platforms can be in any currency. The brokerage account software is included to give you secure and full trading access year round. The brokerage account will only process transactions with a corporate account bearing the same name, so you must first set up a bank account when ordering the brokerage account.

The minimum opening balance for the brokerage account is US$ 10,000.

Required documents:

  1. Certified copy of the incorporation documents of the IBC
  2. Notarized photocopies of the passports of each of the signatories to the account
  3. Verification of a permanent address (such as utility bill)
  4. A bank reference (a letter confirming that you hold a personal account in any bank) for all signatories
  5. A professional reference prepared by an attorney, accountant, business partner, client
  6. Completed application form
  7. A short Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Bank Account in UK (ONLY for UK LLP and UK Limited Company)

UK bank introduction is reserved for UK companies which we have incorporated and at the moment we do not offer UK bank introduction to companies incorporated in any of the other jurisdictions that we offer. The UK bank account can be opened for a UK LLP or a UK Ltd and the process can take between 2-4 weeks to complete. The UK banks which with which we do business with are banks with international connections and they provide excellent banking services including remote access to UK bank accounts (Internet, Telephone). There are no fixed minimum first deposit amounts for UK banks but we recommend that our clients make a deposit of £1000.

Requirement documents for UK Bank Accounts:

  • Incorporation documents for the UK Company
  • In cases where an offshore company is a member of a UK LLP Certified or Apostille Incorporation documents for the offshore company is needed
  • Detailed business plan of the UK Company
  • Projection of monthly and annual company turn over
  • Complete bank application form
  • Notarized copy of passport pages of each signatory to the account
  • Proof of address
  • Personal bank statements for the last 3 months
  • Proof of source of funds of beneficial owners of the UK Company
